The last time we saw Danny Ocean's crew, they were paying back ruthless casino mogul Terry Benedict after stealing millions from him. However, it's been a while since they've come back together, which is all about to change. When one of their own, Reuben Tishkoff builds a hotel with known casino owner Willy Banks, the last thing he ever wanted was to get cut out of the deal personally by the loathsome Banks. Banks' attitude even goes so far as to finding the amusement in Tishkoff's misfortune when the double crossing lands Reuben in the hospital because of a heart attack. However, Danny and his crew won't stand for Banks and what he's done to a friend. Uniting with their old enemy Benedict, who himself has a vendetta against Banks, the crew is out to pull off a major plan. One that will unfold on the night Banks' newest hot spot opens up, when the crew is out to bankrupt one of the city's most despised businessmen. But they're not in this for the money, but for the revenge.Actors

Very Very Good
This one didn’t go to eleven
All style, no substance.
Sharp comedy full of Hollywood’s hottest stars
I saw "Ocean’s Eleven" with my older sister and we both really liked it. Snappy answers within back-and-forth conversations are what made the movie so enjoyable.
Example:
"You’re a thief and a liar."
"I only lied about being a thief, and I don’t do that anymore."
"Steal?"
"Lie."
Julia Roberts is the best (of course!) and, in my opinion, is used too little, but that makes the viewer appreciate her time onscreen even more than usual. George Clooney and Brad Pitt are thrown in for the ladies and are the main characters, and the ensemble of Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, Bernie Mac, Andy Garcia, etc. is what completes the movie. The star-wattage is wonderful, the acting is amazing, the plot is perfect, and the ending is unexpected (ooh, like my use of alliteration?).
Average Hollywood fare
Plot: 6

Lots of headlining people in a movie that didn’t make enough sense.
George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon, who wouldn’t want to see it?
It was a good movie. very intriguing. I liked it. Clooney, Pitt and Damon were totally HOT!
great combination of script, characters, setting, and actors!
Coolest movie of the year.
Okay, I admit that I was skeptical when I heard that someone was gonna remake the 1960 sort of a classic but not really "Ocean’s 11". Well, to my surprise, this film succeeded where the orginal missed the mark. Obviously, gorgeous George and Co. could never be as cool as "The Rat Pack", but man do they come close. Clooney who pretty much plays himself in this film (Something that usually signals no talent whatsoever. Not so here. George is the man.) is about as suave and debonair as they come. He and Brad Pitt steal the show. The chemistry between the two is nothing short of amazing. The supporting players are equally as entertaining. Aside from some minor plot "goofyness" the film holds up and is much, much better than I could have ever hoped for.
Very good, nice acting, funny, an all around good movie
Terrible, much much worse than original.
This movie lacked continunity, often made no sense whatsoever and relied upon its star power without investing anything into plot. Julie Roberts was a nothing. Brad Pitt not much better. Matt Damon was okay. Stupid stupid movie.
I liked this one way better than the first
fun, fun, fun!
surprised with the low scores. i thought it was simply just a fun movie so this is why i gave it a 9. nothing to be taken seriously except for the coolness and it showed with pitt and clooney. fun, fun, fun - that is what the intent was and it was easily satisfied. makes you want to go out for that ultimate heist!
This is quite a good movie to watch.
big names, mediocre plot This is average Hollywood Fare
George, Brad, Matt and Julia - it doesn’t get much better than this.
this movie is bad ass. end of story.
Good movie, good plot, good action, good story
Not great, just good but good all the way to the end. I really wasn’t sure how was going to be what with all the mega ego stars in it, but I think they did a good job of subjugating themselves to the movie. No one stole the show, and no one killed the show. Go see it, you won’t be disappointed.
Stupid but fun, better than original
liked it a lot. well acted throughout.
not great, not bad, julia barely in it, should b more action
If you liked ‘Out Of Sight’ & ‘Get Shorty’, then you’ll like this movie.
Too much going on to build any type of interest for individual characters.
This movie is hella good
i’m mildly disappointed
from the trailers, i thought it looked a lot like snatch except with an american cast. for having a star studded cast, i’m vaguely disappointed in the movie. it tried to be funny/witty/sarcastic but was not enough to bring much laughter from the audience. i guess the characters did look good tho, and dressed slickly for their con men/thieves roles. there was no special effects to speak of really, and it seemed a bit like a mission impossible with eleven men stealing instead of one man saving. i think what i disliked most about the movie was for the fact that there were so many characters, but you didn’t feel much for any of them as they were on screen so shortly. the movie mainly focused on clooney, damon, and pitt. overall, it was an enjoyable brainless sort of flick. i would say see snatch or two guns instead–at least rent them after you see this in the theatre. =)
Soderbergh scores another hit with an excellent caper movie.
