Storyline
Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire are three intelligent young children who receive terrible news that their parents have died in a fire and have left them an enormous fortune not to be used until the eldest child is of age. When they are sent to live with Count Olaf, a greedy distant relative, they soon learn he is trying to steal their fortune for himself.

average. the books are better.
it was a pretty good job for the task of blending a whole series into one hour-and-a-half movie.. but because of that, ALOTALOT was cut out. i recommend reading the books before you see it. if ou don’t some of the insinuations will go over your head because they aren’t obvious unless you’re looking for them.

Not good for young children
The premise of the movie is that Lemony Snicket’s attempts to kill three children to get an inheritance of money. Some of the scenes were scary for the young ones.
For the kids and movie fans young and old.
This is a great looking movie with cool production design and an original beginning. The little toddler is very funny.
