So.. Liam and the crew are ALL BUDDIES. Ford is the bad guy. Everyone wants a mutiny and to reinstate Liam as the captain. It’s alluded to all through the movie and it might as well be part of the movie title "Mutiny on the K-19 Widowmaker".
Finally someone gets the courage and opportunity to overthrow Ford and reinstate Liam as captain and what does he do???
ARRESTS THE GUYS AND TURNS THE SHIP BACK TO LIAM.
If that is TRUE that he really did that, he was a little off his rocker and went against the wishes of the entire crew. They should have locked him up along with the other captain. If it’s a hollywood add-on it ruined the movie for me.
The best sub movie since ‘The Hunt For Red October’.
Excellent, but probably won’t please everyone.
I loved the movie. It is nice to see a movie based on the Soviets. The only problem with the movie is that there is no real enemy. I think it will do much better in the box office totals if it was a movie based on two subs fighting each other than a movie where the sub is fighting to keep itself afloat.
Nicely written and nicely acted. Go see it!
Lacking story, but overall very well done.
