pretty cool, let me tell ya..
It was good
I loved it! The second book has always been my favorite, so I loved it!!
good. book better!
i love harry potter books and the movies are quite true to everything. it is one of those movies where if you read the book, then everything seems to simply be repeated. it’s wierd, i cannot say that the movie was great, but i cannot say it was bad. i don’t know what this means, really. kind of long. also, i always thought that potter was a bit ‘younger’ at his second year at hogwarts! by his seventh year, he’ll have a beard at this rate! ouch! go read the book!
I cannot decide which one I liked better….
Better effects than the first, but…
it seems they strayed even further from the book than the first movie. Why did they have a scene with Harry falling out of the car?? Other than the extra junk thrown in the movie was well done. I hope the new director does as good (or better) on the next installment…
More of the same; awesome effects; too long.
decent far fetched special effects tale a equal sequal
Good, but I thought the book was better
I’m partial to the book, but…
This movie adaptation of Harry Potter Book 2 is impressive. The action seems more intense than the first movie, and it’s fun to watch the child actors develop their characters. Still, it’s just a fraction of the book. Call me crazy, but I’d rather have the whole story and make up my own pictures. That won’t stop me from seeing the next movie, but I am a little worried how it will have to be changed to fit into 2.5 hours. Don’t get me started on Book 4!!
Adaptation and pacing just like the first.
R for Retarded
Book readers will enjoy much more. Still very good!
Tasty
Much darker than HP1, of course. What I especially liked was the continuity of the characters. The actors have all grown up a year+. As a result, Harry and Ron are taller than Hermione and Malfoy is taller than Harry. It adds a touch of realism that perhaps would not have been there otherwise. I liked the movie a lot. Malfoy’s dad is especially evilly well done.
