Great movie! Completely entertaining.
This movie drew me in right away. I thought Frank was an amazing character who creatively and brazenly did pretty well with the cards he’d been dealt. The relationship between Frank and Tom Hank’s character in the FBI is an entertaining cat and mouse game with a little mutual respect thrown in as the plot thickens. One of the most enjoyable movies I’ve seen this year.
Pleasantly surprised…
Very good. But not as good as hyped.
One of Speilberg’s best. DiCaprio and Hanks make a great cat-and-mouse movie
Clever, witty, funny
good solid movie.
the movie was good. it kept me engaged and i thought leo did a decent job, as well as tom hanks. for some reason, though i thought that the whole process of leo becoming an airline pilot, processing fake checks, etc., seemed too easy. there was not a lot of detail on exactly HOW this all happened and it would have been interesting, otherwise it just seemed. . .to easy? anyway, overall, good hollywood stuff if not taken too seriously.
Adventures of a FAKE
Great movie ENJOYED it so much didn’t want it to end.
reelerguy - "Your Back!" - Well, visuals aren’t
nearly as important to me as they are for ‘reelerguy’. I enjoyed the story. I think most moviegoers will have fun with this one.
Just as I was getting into Spielberg…
I’ve really been getting into Spielberg’s recent films. I liked A.I. and Minority Report and a film or two before A.I. there was Saving Private Ryan, another one of his best films.
Unforunately, Catch Me if You Can is a story that never gets me involved and Spielberg’s ideas and visuals never impress me here as they did in his previous two films.
slow in parts, but overall a fun film
Takes it time to get the story going, so it’s a bit slow at times. Leo’s much more suited for this film than for his other current release, Gangs of New York. In this, he’s charming, funny, quick, and very likeable. The cat-and-mouse aspect of the film really builds as the film progresses, which is great fun.
It may not be the best, but it certainly is the coolest movie of 2002.
Great acting, interesting story, fun ride.
Expected less and got more!
What a blast!
leo way better here than Gangs Nyork,Tom was good like road2 predition, goodstory
