Surprisingly good. A little far fetched though.

    A redneck spy movie……….
Everything James Bond is not, XXX is. If you love James Bond, stick with 007. This has copied almost every element within a James Bond flick except everything is opposite. For example, in Bond people dress classy, in XXX people are wearing "hip hop" clothes. XXX is like an extreme sports oulaw person or something, I really don’t know if he has an occupation. The government recruits XXX becuase he can "fit in" with the trashy-low life enemy they are looking for. The "gadget guy" somehow overnight transforms an old GTO into a really unbelievable super-weapon, stupid, but cool. If you are an "extreme" kinda dude, and have more than one tatoo or body piercing, you must see or buy XXX. The movie is like watching a very long commercial for a tatoo parlor. I’m not impressed with Vin Diesel’s acting, but watching a bald-headed tatoo spy story is about as interesting as daytime talkshow . but he carries this movie. The best part: the snowboard scene.

    Cheeseburger
Misogyny and the objectification of women. Bikini-clad women giggling in a chateau fountain during the winter says a lot about the mentality of this bad film.

Bad script, bad plot, bad story, and terrible acting. What was that thing on the river? What a pathetic piece of art direction.

The use of an American flag parachute while parasailing towards the Charles Bridge is so egotistical that it is an embarrassment. We do not need to self-promote ourselves. The use of cinema to flaunt ourselves in front of the world is just bad taste.

Who did Vin Diesel sleep with to become a Hollywood star?

    Great fun… Bond/Super Hero… not a dull moment!

  7. long

More exciting action than in any of the James Bond flicks!
It would’ve been better had it acquired a script that had better dialogue and a much more intriguing and intricate plot.

this sucks unless you’re a teen age boy
i sat through it. the chick was hot. as a movie it sucked BAD but as a series of action shots it was good. this movie should have gone straight to video though. the plot was not new, the cliche’s were fast and furious, and the colorful acting was in fact pitch black

Awesome - lots of action and special effects.

    Cheap James Bond ripoff
Early in the movie I was pretty happy with it, but it very quickly went down the drain. Sure - there was mindless action pretty much throughout it … but it was so over the top it got ridiculous. Like the non-stop 20-yard-up-in-the-air-bikejumps-over-fences … started from flat ground. Diesel gets mad props for the muscle it takes to jump himself + bike like that!

    Bitches! Come!

    Bitches come!
This movie was pretty good. I think it nearly met my expectations, but I’d expected to really love it.

1st half was fun and promising…
2nd half dragged with mindless tiresome action.
