Cruise and Foxx are great together.
Michael Mann, who gave us "Heat", "Thief", and "Manhunter" gives us another modern noir classic. Stylish, tense, suspenseful, and dangerous. Good stuff!

Arnold is better than this. He should know better than to make a supposed action movie with very little action and no clear good guys and clear bad guys. Arnold’s character is just out for revenge while the supposed bad guy is just trying to save his country. There were basically zero characters to whom you could relate, let alone like. Let’s face it, Arnie is NOT Clint Eastwood. He really can’t handle any depth of character. He needs to stick to formulae that work for him.

Stay away from this one. Arnold is washed up and he needs to stop with the acting. I have no idea what makes the people in Hollywood continue to pay him money to destroy the english language. Usually he has some good action scenes but these were not done well and you could realize the lack of work done on the scenes.

the plot is preaty bad and the acting is not there at all
you cant belive that an american is going to go to a small fishing town in colombia and everyone speaks english
dont go see this one, wait till the dvd comes out maybe some deleted sence might make it work

you know the story, mix in a pretty woman with fake upper lips (someone should ban collagen) and a pathetic kid and you’ve got a great Arnold movie!!
