I was confused. Was I supposed to laugh
The movie stars one of my favorite stars Bruce Willis, and Michelle Phiefer. I was looking foreward to seeing this movie. The result: I was dumbfounded. The movie was considered a comedy, but I did not find not one thing funny about this couple fighting, it was just depressing to me. I was happy to see them getting along for onne, but the conclusion of that scene is a fight. Of course this is also a romance and it has a happy ending, but why. After all the pain that they went through the last thing I expected was a happy ending
Very good movie, Bruce and Michelle are a good on screen couple…
Good date movie for me. I’d recommend it to women & healthy couples.
The Story of Us made me hold on tight to my honey, but I can see how Bruce and Michelle’s fighting could bring out bad memories for some couples on the rocks. A little too real in some parts, especially if you know what divorce can do to all involved. But in all, I’d say this a wonderful love story. Makes you think about the little stuff–the good little stuff and the bad little stuff–and how much it all matters. (And it’s fun to see Bruce Willis acting a little like David Addison again.)
