Storyline
A comedy-drama about best friends - one a straight woman, Abbie (Madonna), the other a gay man, Robert (Rupert Everett) - who decide to have a child together. Five years later, Abbie falls in love with a straight man and wants to move away with her and Robert's little boy Sam, and a nasty custody battle ensues.

    I enjoyed this but this one is for the couples!
    The Next Best thing is pretty good for a Romantic Drama. The cast is suprising good, espiecally Rupert Everette. This film would be very recommened for people wanting to take their girlfriend to the cinema. But the film I think is let down by the sad ending. However, very good work!
