"Remember the Alamo!" was never this forgettable.
Pick up a book and try reading only the odd numbered chapters. That’s what watching this movie was like.

If you were expecting fighting, most of it comes AFTER the Alamo battle. I won’t say much more about the film but this thing seems to have borrowed the "Pearl Harbor" style of movie making where the title denotes a tragedy but of COURSE you have to end it with a high note of the "hurray for the USA" variety. This sort of formulaic nonsense gets tiring quickly.

Not to say that the movie doesn’t have some good moments. Far from it. But I guess Hollywood’s continual lack of originality is starting to grate on me.
