Storyline
Orin Boyd (Seagal) is a Detroit cop who doesn't follow rules. After he saved the Vice President by violating every order he received he is transferred to one of the worst precincts in the city. So bad I couldn’t finish watching it
A friend forced me to watch this with him
And everything about it was unbelievably terrible, from the performances to the story to the visuals. Not a single redeeming quality.
Producer Joel Silver triumphs once again! Segal and DMX are dynamite together!
rappers, bad actions stars, and your usual special effects
A compelling story, depicts some real situations
Exit Wounds is worth the price of admission
My son and I are both fans of action movies, so we decided to take in Steven Seagal’s flick. We were both pleased as the action sequences are worth the price of admission.
Steven Seagal does some of his best back-flipping, truck-dodging, kicking up dirt in this movie.
And as an added bonus it even had a great storyline to it that was full of lots of plots twists and a suprise ending that you will have to go to cinema to experience but I am sure you will be glad you did.
Steven Seagal returns to the big screen.
After a string of PATHETIC movies he finally puts out a movie worth watching. Straight to video? I think not.
cliche car chases, cliche fight scenes but passed the time
Good action flick, actually made me want to buy the soundtrack!
Seagal’s last two movies went from bad to worse so I was pleasently suprised to see this one reverse the trend (now if only the stock market would do the same)! Good story, lots of action, excellent soundtrack, and a great cast (DMX makes a better actor than a rapper in my opinion) makes this movie well worth seeing in my book. I would have rated it higher except for a few flaws in the movie. The most notible is a lack of back ground on the characters. OK, Seagal’s character is a cop so I can understand he might be good in a scrap, but it never mentions where his character learned how to karate fight. Then again, every other character seems to have years of kung-fu mastery as well. Even DMX, who (suprise, suprise) actually isn’t the villian (he is supposed to be an internet mogul who is doing under-cover work for his expo on police corruption) can fight like Bruce Lee. (Where does a techie have time to get that kind of training!) The other complaint I have has to do with the camera work on this film. In Seagal’s earlier flicks the camera work has pulled back a bit so you could really get a good view of his fighting style (which is the main reason I watch his movies) yet in the last 3 movies the camera is to close or the scene just isn’t lit well enough for you to really see all the action. Most of it just comes off as a blur. Hopefully, they will work on this in future pictures. Also, don’t hop up an leave right at the credits or you will miss a good 8 minutes of comedy at the end.
