Good but not great
The last five minutes was cool…
Dreamcatcher is a fun, frightening ride that should be checked out.
– Four life long friends, each with special powers face off against invading aliens and the army.
— Very few novels by the grandious supreme author Stephen King translate well onto the big screen. With only a few exceptions, this film is one of them. Director Lawrence Kasdan direction, combined with some amazing special efx, and even more amazing performances bring this chilling tale of alien invasion to life. The film which focuses on four friends on their yearly retreat to a mountain cabin which gets intrupeted by invaders, who like to ingest inside our bodies and then come out from our ass. Which may be on of the more gross moments in the film. You can invade my planet, just please don’t invade I disagree. Morgan Freeman rounds out the cast as a military commander in charge of preventing the invasion– which appears to occur very often, depsite the rest of the world not knowing about it. But our four friends all seem to have special powers given to them by their fifth friend Dudits. The film has a slick and fast pace all the way up to it’s tension filled climax. The translation from novel to screen here is exellent, it feels as if all the book is covered in the short period of the film.

worth seeing, but very daft.
I like this one quite a bit. It’s a 7, but the Animatrix made it an 8.
awesome effects but to me a very confusing story should of read the book oops
Still looking for the first big movie of 2003.
My primary complaint of this movie is that it tried to squeeze what should probably be a six hour movie into a two hour synopsis. That almost always results in a poor movie. Fortunately it wasn’t half bad so what the heck. I just wish that Jay had more on-screen Time.
SOO much more to it than you would think.
