Like a Care Wreck you, you can’t look away!
This has to be the biggest disappiontment ever. I mean I have waited months to see Alexander, and then they have to nerve to show that…. This movie is not historially acurate,it would probably be more interesting if it was. The movie was about 30 or so minutes to long, which normally I don’t mind…but in this case. I believe that a few flashback moments should have been key parts like in the true story of Alexander. But my biggest problem with the movie was the casting normally I love the actors in the movie,but I don’t think that they fit in there roles, not to mention it sounded like the movie was taking place somewhere on the British Isle with all the Irish/English dialects, instead of Greece,Egypt, and the other places Alexander conquered.

"Alexander…should be called "Oliver Stone’s worst movie ever!!!" First of all, its historically incorrect in almost every single scene of the movie. If you don’t like spoilers, then don’t read this review.
I just don’t understand why Oliver Stone can’t do a movie with some truths in it without stretching the truth, or in this case, lying. If you see this movie, you will waste your money and will probably contemplate suicide.
I heard that Oliver had to go back and reshoot some of "Alexander" because in an early review, many people thought that he made Alexander way too "homosexual". Obviously, he forgot to reshoot. The main focuse on the movie was the homosexual foreplay. Alexander was bisexual but on a few occasions. The movie described him as a pure homosexual. At times it made me laugh because of how silly the script was between Alexander and his friend was.
In real life, King Phillip, Alexander’s dad, was murdered at his daughter’s wedding. In the movie, he was murdered at a place where games were being held.
Alexander died by drinking poison in the movie. What happened in real life was that he died from phneumonia from a collapsed lung, where the movie depicts him getting it from an injury in the battle at the Huphrates River, which sucked. He really got the wound at the siege at the City of the Mallians.
The only ok part of the movie was the battle at Gaugemela. The movie showed the battle with more truth than the whole movie put altogether.
I was sad, after waiting for "Alexander" to come out for many months, that I had to deal with such a horrible feeling after seeing that Oliver Stone screwed up, bigtime, on a movie that got so much hype and was about the greatest legend of all time! Overall, the movie sucked, was made like a piece of crap, and I seriously hope Oliver Stone never makes a movie again.
