very slight, but Julie Andrews was good
Cute but completely ruins the decent book that it was based on.

My Daughter’s (7, 12, 14, 15) loved this one, I wish I’d waited for the video
It was funny, it was cute, it was sweet, it IS video fare. Oh man, oh man how I wish I’d let my daughter’s all go in alone (with each other anyway). I mean, it wasn’t like I didn’t like it … it’s just that it should have been released straight to video or DVD. Julie Andrews did a good job, the transformation of the "Princess" was cool it just wasn’t worth $40.
I thought it was a cute movie and all the little girls in the theater agreed.
I so wanted it to be great! But it was too long for so little a story <yawn>
It starts out cute…I wanted to see this movie so much. I am a HUGE fan of Julie Andrews and have been since I was a kid, and she was pretty good. Actually everyone performed well it was just that the movie was too long.
This movie lasted a good 2 hours and really the story was only enough to tide us over for a good hour and a half. It was cute, but we all knew what the ending would be and it took a long time to get there. It was cute tho…a little boring. Too bad!!!!! Such potential!!!!
