Enjoyable but nothing special.
There is a continuous element of surprise and ingenuity with the special effects
This 2 hr epic adventure combines elements of Indiana Jones, James Bond and McGyver.
Too Fast, and lost some weight
This adaptation movie got me thinking about how a confiderate ship made it across the Altantic and ended up in the deserts of Africa, but between the actions and the subplots, I had to keep reminding myself that this was an action movie. Reason: Safara left most of its subplots unanswered and makes me wonder if there will be a sequel or is most of the movie still on the editing floor. ON the other hand, maybe this movie may cause those interested in the little details to purpuse the book, thus causing the movie to become a commerical adveristment for the book.
On the good side: it is an average action movie with great location sites and amazing cinematography and good acting.
