This was such a great movie!!!!
I loved this movie. The acting was great. I loved the plot. It was exciting and exhilarating. Colin Farrell is so kissable in some parts.

A "tale" for all ages; pokes fun at itself; fun to watch!
I find it funny to listen to "film" afficionados respond to this confection with such ire, as if the film missed its mark by a mile. Instead, I think the director and all involved made the movie they wanted to make and did a fine job at that. A tall tale about a legendary figure in western lore played by a "boy gang" of attractive young actors. A movie for those who are tired of sadistic and/or gross-out fare, this is a fun and charming antidote. Have fun counting the cliches, the screenwriter and director obviously wanted you to enjoy the classic western genre of an earlier era.

Okokok, I confess, I saw this movie.
(The edit was to change the score from a 6 to a 5. It was a decent flick, but just your average hollywood stuff)

So shoot me. While guiding a horse at full gallop with the reins in your teeth while you’re being shot at.

That about sums up the type of movie this is. Reality and facts pretty much get up and go (right out the saloon window) in this respinning of the Frank and Jesse James and Cole and Bob Younger story. How much of the story is true? Probably not much.

Yet I liked it for one reason or another. Possibly because my expectations were low. Will I remember this movie a year from now? Hardly likely. And frankly $8.75 a ticket is starting to get ridiculous, but I guess as the minimum wage rises, so must other things.
